How to select data in IronTree V2

Please follow the procedure below to ensure that your data selections are correct and that any new data added to the selected folders is added to the selections and hence backed up.


Important: Please make sure you have an Irontree Version 2 account . You would know this as one of our technicians would have called you and assisted you in the migration process. The username would be in an email entitled Äctivate account". Your username will be specified next you a description : Your login 


If you are unsure call us on 0879432278 and one of our technicians will assist you,


Log into console


Log into the console 


Select device by clicking on the device name:

Click on  Protect




Click on ellipsis then Edit 



Select folders 


Click on specify folder or the blue text next to items to back up eg.


      or


Click select files and folders


Tick the folders you need backed up then click DONE . If there are folders within that need to be deselected do not untick them . This needs to be done in file filters.


You will see something similar . You will see the list of included folders. Click on OK



Exclude folders 


Click on Change, next to Backup options


Click on File Filters  


Paste the paths of the excluded files under "Do not back up files matching the following criteria"   eg . C:\Pastel19\eric1979




Click on DONE then SAVE
